I've read a lot of great tips here about bringing home a newborn with a toddler in the house already, I was wondering if any of you have any good book recommendations on the topic?

Thanks in advance!

We had (and really liked) this book:

http://www.amazon.com/Brother-Ronne-Stephenson-Kristina-Randall/dp/144547008X/ref=sr_1_26?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1350873123&sr=1-26&keywords=big+brother

It also comes in the "I'm a Big Sister" version. The book does an excellent job of keeping the baby's gender neutral, so it is good whether you're bringing home a baby boy or girl.

Siblings without rivalry! It helped me figure out how to manage DD's feelings when we brought the baby home. Overall, it's a great read for parents of two or more kids, regardless of the kids' age.

I wholeheartedly second the Siblings without Rivalry book, and would add What Baby Needs (http://www.amazon.com/What-Needs-Sears-Children-Library/dp/0316788287) to read aloud to your older DC.

I want to third the recommendation for Siblings Without Rivalry. I am due in a few weeks so I should probably re-read it. Had a lot of good tips for validating an older siblings feelings so they can learn how to adapt to the new normal.
