Updated: Need P&PT please

Update: Unfortunately, the news was worse today than I expected. I'm having surgery on Tuesday morning. Overall the procedure is very safe but like anything, comes with risks. I'm terrified because even though in the short term not much is likely to change, long term this will be life altering.

Went to an opthamologist today for a routine visit, they found a problem and have me seeing a specialist tomorrow. Depending on what he says I will probably need surgery on Thursday or Friday.

I am FREAKING OUT. I totally didn't see this coming and have always been doing everything I can to just preserve the vision I have. Any P&PT you can spare is greatly appreciated.
