$30 for a box?

Can someone clarify this for me. I need to replace my kit lens and the difference is these two lenses appears to be the box. One is a regular manufacturer printed box and the other is just a white box. The price difference is $30. Am I missing something?

The cheaper one is 'grey market':

"Items marked "USA" are imported and/or distributed by the manufacturer or the manufacturers official licensed importer/distributor and a re warranted by them. Items marked "IMP" are imported and/or distributed by other entities and are warranted by B&H Photo-Video. "IMP" products do not qualify for manufacturers rebate programs. There is no difference in the item itself."

Gray market items were never intended to be imported to the US but other markets so the manufacterer will not warranty the product at all.
