Anyone watching the new series Nashville?

DH and I have both really been enjoying it. I get that it's really just a nighttime soap, but Connie Britton is really good in it, IMHO. I think it's got potential. Any thoughts?

I also like it, but DH did not like the first episode. I am adding it to my tv that I watch alone.

I am! I caught the second episode first and then went back for the first. I think Connie Britton is amazing but I'm not loving Hayden Panettiere's character nor her thing with the super older man. I imagine I'm not supposed to like her so that's okay with me. I also don't think that the songs are particularly well written, i.e. a bit cornball, I think. I really do like the show otherwise!

I ended up watching the first episode after I was too tired to move after Modern Family. ;) I liked it. I agree it has potential--hope it doesn't get too soapy like Revenge.

Oh but Revenge is good, and I think the stories are a bit more solid than Nashville (and keep in mind I watched the first season of Revenge starting in early September, and am now caught up so I could easily still be in the honeymoon phase with Revenge) so far, but I really think due to Revenge's success and the recent success of the Dallas reboot I think this is very much the return of night time soaps:)

I only watched the first episode but didn't even care to finish it after I had to stop 45minutes in.

I think it's entertaining. I'll keep watching. I also like Revenge.
