I tried reading through old threads but my search skills at work are escaping me. Sorry for redundancy!
DD is 50 pounds, 50 inches.
She's been in the back of Grandpa's truck very rarely, but I anticipate needing him more between January and April because of work.
Commute is 1 hour in heavy city traffic.
Truck is an extended cab full size pickup with those weird half door things.
up until now we've put our Britax Frontier (harnessed) or new Graco HB turbobooster (in neon purple!) in there on the extremely rare chance we've needed to.
Grandpa says he has a LBB, I need to see it, don't know age or manufacturer, i'm sure he didn't buy it. Either way with all that glass in the truck, I don't think I'm comfortable with that. Given the length of our commute and number of accidents we see every day, I'm not comfortable with the LBB in our cars.
Knowing how seldom this will be used and given her current specs, especially with no other grandchildren forthcoming, I would be happy to be the one to purchase one for them to have just in case.
What should I buy? I'm struggling with Booster heights/comfort/and truck combos. Thanks in advance!
