I am currently using a crossbody purse which functions perfectly for me but I hate the way it looks. I got an email about Roots having a 25% off sale and thought I should look and see if there is something there I might like.

What do you think? Cute? Boring? So 1994?

I have a Boden Mac in "Pewter Falling Leaves": http://www.bodenusa.com/en-US/Womens-Coats-Jackets/Coats/WE344/Womens-Rainy-Day-Mac.html?NavGroupID=2
A grey wool coat, a garnet wool coat and a teal puffer coat.
Should I buy black or would the brown look fine with my coats? I think I like the brown better, but which brown? The distressed Africa brown or the dark chocolate brown.

I like the second choice better, but both are nice! :) I'm more of a black purse girl, but go with whatever you like better, of course!

I like the first one best and I would get black, especially to go with a grey coat.

Another Roots bag to consider is the "Olivia". I wear mine cross body and I love it!

Nice. I like it.

I also like the sound of all your coats - I have been lusting after the Boden Mac in that colour combo myself, but can't justify it unless I can get it for a deal at the end of the season!

I love this combo, it is fun but is still quite neutral that it goes with pretty much everything.
