I found some easy instruction for making lipgloss/ lip balm on Pinterest and thought it might be a cute gift idea......and a way I can give the girls some play "lipstick" without worrying about lead and other yucky chemicals that always seem to pop up in cheap kids makeup......

but I'm having a hard time finding beeswax. My whole foods doesn't sell any, but said they're going to be adding a bulk section of beeswax and shea butter in the near future.......and online, I just don't know what's good and what isn't.

any suggestions on where else to look, or where to buy?

Here is one of the pinterest pins I'm thinking about using:

My sister makes it all the time. I believe she orders from new direction. They also have realnessentional oils if you want to add those. Remember always do a search for a coupon code!

We made the Lava Lip Gloss from Kiss Natural (http://kissnaturals.com/catalog_us/) at DD1's party. They also have lip balm and bath fizzy kits among others. The girls loved making them and I have to admit, I really like the lip gloss. While I'm sure it is more expensive for the amount of supplies you are getting, it did work out cheaper because you weren't having to buy large amounts of everything. You just get what you need. They ship from Vermont so it got here a lot faster than I expected (the company is in Quebec). But they also sell them in stores so you may be able to find them locally. Our store sells the lip balm and bath fizzies. I'm dying to try the solid perfume.
