Looking for some funny movies to watch...

My sense of humor tends to be rather inappropriate.
I really liked Bridesmaids, Due Date, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, etc.
to name a few comedies.

Any suggestions??

Thanks!!

Hey, how could you guys forget Super Troopers? I also think that Napolean Dynamite is hilarious, but in a quirky way.

I have a weakness for screwball comedies (think Spencer Tracy/Katharine Hepburn and Doris Day/Rock Hudson) with a lot of wordplay and bantering, so maybe I'm odd.

Pat and Mike (Tracy/Hepburn)
Pillow Talk (Day/Hudson)
That Touch of Mink (Day/Grant)

HOWEVER, I did like quite a few of the flicks other folks have mentioned, especially Coen brothers (Raising Arizona, Fargo, Big Lebowski, etc.) and Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jersey Girl, even Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, though that's pretty much a vanity pic with a ton of inside jokes that kind of demand you've read the comics ...)

And I have a devotion to all things Monty Python.

...

Oh take the bags off your head and include ...

Young Frankenstein (it's Frahnkenshteen!)
History of the World Part I
Blazing Saddles

... and I think you're good. Mel Brooks is a comic genius.

I am also partial to 50 First Dates, which re-teams Drew Barrymore with Adam Sandler. It's probably one of the sweetest gross-out comedies I've seen in a while.

And, well, talking about bags-on-our-heads, I have a soft spot for Clueless with Alicia Silverstone.

Team America: Word Police (super gross, but one of my top 5 funniest movies)
Elf
40 Year Old Virgin
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Hangover
Dodgeball
Office Space
Napoleon Dynamite
Zoolander

I thought someone had mentioned Knocked Up ... and, yes, I thought it was pretty funny, too.

I'll give you Ace Ventura (laces OUT!) and definitely Wayne's World (schwing!) and I did enjoy Spinal Tap, though my DH somehow thinks I hated it. I didn't hate it, but I did have the darndest time figuring out some of the winks.

*sigh* But this one goes to eleven.

And seeing as how you've included quite a few Parker/Stone flicks, what about Baseketball?

I think I'd like it if I just sat and watched it. My husband is watching it frequently right now (must be on Showtime or some other movie channel). I only catch bits and pieces. It's hard to sit and watch a whole movie nowadays! I have a feeling I'd also like Orgazmo - their other film.

I love "Death at a Funeral" (the original British one, not the American remake). I find it to be laugh-out-loud black comedy. Love it!

For years, all we watched were comedies. Funniest movie I have ever seen: Borat. Hands down, laughed till I cried (repeatedly), inappropriate, vulgar, and hilarious. Wedding Crashers is second. But we love them all:

The Jerk
Spaceballs
Any older Eddie Murphy movie
Three Amigos
All of Me (love Steve Martin)
Clifford (not the dog, Martin Short!)
Me, Myself, and Irene
Napoleon Dynamite

I could go on and on, but DS has to poop.

Hey, we have similar tastes. Another favorite in our house is Mel Brooks' To be or not to be!
And I think Clueless was one of the first movies I watched (on TV) when I came to this country so I definitely have a soft spot for it.
