Hello, I am helping my cousin plan her trip and she has a 2.5 yr old, 6 yr old and 8 yr old. How does the 2.5 year old and ticketing/dining/hotel work? I see that ages are 3 and up are included in the packages. Can she stay in a value resort as it's 5 people total (her and DH, 3 kids)? Thanks in advance for your help.

The 2.5 year old is basically free (free park admission). If they're doing a dining plan then the 2.5 year old won't be eligible, which means he/she can either eat for free off family members' plates, or they can order off the menu and pay for the toddler separately. For rooms, the maximum occupancy is regulated by Florida laws, and I'm not sure if <3's are included in the maximum occupancy count listed on Disney's site. I can try to find out for you... ETA: According to this website (http://www.themouseforless.com/tripplanning/resorts/wdwroomoccupancy.shtml), <3's in a crib do not count toward maximum occupancy. :)
