Update: I found the answer and, yes, I can reimburse my HSA and then resubmit those claims with my FSA.
I just found out that we had signed up for a limited FSA this year with $1500. This is the first time that we had done that, so I had completely forgotten about it and paid for all of our dental and vision this year with our HSA card.
I now would like to get that money reimbursed back to the HSA and taken out of our limited FSA. Do you know if this is possible? The HR person at my husband's work didn't know the answer and is going to look into it. I thought I'd ask here in case someone's more knowledgable than she is.
