DS2 is very excited to self feed. Most of the shorter spoons I've seen are really wide, too wide for him. Any ones that are smaller/narrower but still short? Bonus for metal or silicone or BPA free.

They are little wider than I think would be comfortable, though I've liked the looks of those. Could always get them to try and save for later if it doesn't work. He's still opening his mouth like a kiss, kind of puckered. :D

My DGD2 loves these! I got her an assortment of toddler utensils when she was about 9 months, and these are the ones she strongly prefers.

I got some stainless demitasse spoons from IKEA that worked well.
