I need some serious help here. Still nursing ds and have been wearing either Coobie or bravado body silk daily but I need something with shape! I don't want wire - I'm very small chested (32b/c) so I'm thinking (hoping!) I can get shape without having to go back to under wire styles for everyday wear. I don't need or want nursing styles - at this point we can work around a normal bra. Any recs? My wishlist (in order of importance)
1. Nice shape (pref without wires)
2. Comfy
3. Cute would be a great bonus. ;)
4. Not $100 lol. I need an entire wardrobe and don't want to blow the bank on the part nobody sees

ok i dont know if i should be sharing my top secret info with you;) since this bralette can be hard to find at times but jokes aside-this is the best freaking bra ever. I have been nursing for 8 years now (between three kids) and I have tried many different bras. This one wins hands down. It is wire free and is incredibly soft, you just don't feel that its even on you. Also it is very stretchy and manages to survive months and months of dd pulling it up and down to nurse-it just snaps back in place, because it has a great amount of stretch. Also, it actually holds what its supposed to hold. The edges are soft and hug the chest gently, so if I ever went awhile without nursing and had extra milk I never felt the edges cut into "the girls". Hmm, what else. Oh, its super cute on and the straps are thin-I dislike thick straps when you don't actually need them and just want to wear an easygoing tank top. I have been buying it on ebay the last couple of years (bought my first two at Bloomingdales a long long time ago). Im a 34c (or maybe 32c at this point, not sure) and I now wear a medium. I wore a large up until baby dd was about 8 months old, then i sized down to the medium. I think you could get away with either a small or medium.
ps i sleep in it every night thats how comfy it is!

:)

I always rave about the Ta Ta Tamer from Lululemon. It's a sports bra but I wear them EVERY day as a regular bra. GREAT shape, great support, comfy, structured. You can wear it with or without the pads (I always wear with because I'm always "cold"). This bra has saved my boobs, seriously. My skin was so stretched thin from nursing twins. I tried on so many bras and went to a bra fitting (where they were just as stumped at Nordstrom) and finally found this - the only one that neatly contains the boobs plus all the saggy wrinkly skin and smooths it all out. The only drawback is that you can't wear very deep v-necks with it. But I have plenty of moderate v-necks and scoopnecks that work fine, and it works well with wide scoop necks too because the strap placement on the shoulders are set a bit wider. LOVE this bra and I really will cry if they discontinue it. And I'm a 29D so I really need the support (I wear a 32B in the Ta Ta tamer and it works well because the band runs very snug). It's $58 regular price (I often see one or two on sale on the racks in store for $44 if you are lucky enough to snag your size).

eta: oh, and I argue that this is a piece of clothing that others DO see...through whatever you put over it...:)

I can't stand wire bras after going so long with nursing bras. I now live in my Coobie bra (which you already have!) and a wacoal bra that is padded soft cups. I'm a 34B and def. need some lift and shape after nursing two kids!

I know! I used to be a die hard underwire girl, even when nursing previously. But I was too small for most underwire nursing bras this time so got the bravado and Coobie out of desperation and have sworn I'll never go back! Lol. Those Coobie bras are so dang comfy (and cheap! There's always a bogo code on google so 2/$25!) but I'm ready for something that has some more definition and shape to it. Not giving up the Coobie entirely though. ;) much to dh's dismay!

Thanks for all the recs. I'll check them out. That ck one looks comfy but if it's hard to get I should try others as well I think (back up plan, Kwim?). Keep the recs coming!!

Ever since I stopped nursing I can't stand wire bras! I have a few from VS that I loved but they are a bit big now so i've been hunting for one ever since.

The most recent one I bought was from Kohls - i liked it so much I went back for another color. It is comfy, doesn't dig anywhere, lifts okay and mostly importantly doesn't give me an odd shape when viewing from the side!

This gap one is comfy but could use a bit more coverage in the middle...

My fave from VS was the Ipex no wire but it's not on the site anymore

This is the other I have from VS that is pretty good too.

I have also become a wireless bra girl since I stopped nursing. Now, I only wear the Warner brand. They have quite a few wireless styles. I am a 36A. I have only been able to find them at Macy's. I am pretty much not going to wear any other brand....

I really loved the ipex bras I don't know why they quit making them. I buy the new body by vs ones which I guess replaced the ipex but they aren't nearly as comfortable and they don't last very long. I've had to replace mine every few months which is very frustrating when they cost $50! I'm going to try a couple of the other suggestions, I also hate underwires.
