My organization deals with a lot of children so all employees are required to take a training on identifying and addressing child sexual abuse. The training that we used was really eye opening for me and I wanted to post a link to some statistics: http://www.d2l.org/site/c.4dICIJOkGcISE/b.6143427/k.38C5/Child_Sexual_Abuse_Statistics.htm

I found a lot of them to be really shocking. I think what really hit home for me the most was that as parents, we need to be on the look out for these one adult/one child situations. Anyway, the training gave me a lot to think about and I know that other concerned parents would want to know this information too.

I am an authorized facilitator for the Stewards of Children training. I work for a children's advocacy center. I am so glad that you found the training helpful. It is truly eye opening. Thanks for sharing your experience. I encourage everyone to seek out a training in your area or consider the online version.

I just received an email from D2L this morning about hiring caregivers. It seems to be a good resource for parents...

This program is offered to parents at DD's school. It was such an eye opener.
