Can I salvage my pants?

I have a pair of mustard colored cords that I wore 1 time. I went to wear them this morning and the bottom of both legs has what looks like light blue-green dye splattered all over the pant legs. My guess is there was something in the washer or dryer (crayon or something) that colored them.

I tried washing and drying them and it didn't come out. Is there anything else I can do or is it hopeless?

I would try taking them to the dry cleaners. Explain what happened, what you think it might be, and make sure you tell them that you washed them. They might be able to get it out. I think they are your last hope. Gl!

Try Fels-Naptha (http://www.felsnaptha.com/). It's done a great job of getting paint and mystery stains off of my family's clothing.
