We have so much stuff for our skating classes that I have decided to buy a large bag. The kids are skating with a hockey league so maybe it makes sense to buy a hockey bag? Any thoughts or recs?

Right now we have 2 bike helmets, 2 snow bibs, elbow and knee pads and gloves. Everything is super bulky.

Saw a cool one the other day at Costco. I think it was even on wheels and stood up so it was easy access. Kind of like this, no idea how much it was because I wasn't looking for one, was just impressed they had it:

we got 2 bauer duffle bags (think that was the brand?) at a local sporting goods store -- no wheels but we used duct tape, wrote each DS's name on a bag. They hold the gear well (no rips)

Maybe a bag each? Just wondering if that will help keep things straight.

I have a bag for each sport. We got DS a baseball bag that holds his bat, glove, ball, helmet and clips on to the fence at the field. For soccer, we use a small duffle bag we had. It's so much easier to have everything in one bag and the rule is all the gear stays in the bag, so we don't have to search the house before each practice/game. I will even keep the equipment bag in the car so it's always ready.

When DS1 (5) started playing mini mites, I got him a bag like this:

I don't know if it is the same exact bag, but they look the same to me. It holds all of his hockey gear (pads, helmet, skates, jerseys, socks) and I keep a sweat shirt in it for DS2 (3). When DS2 started playing and we got the gear for him, we bought him the same bag. It is nice because it is easy for either kid to pull it. I like them each having their own bag (not as heavy and it is more organized). It is also easy for either of them to pull the bag. I keep a Lego keychain on DS1's bag, so he can tell it apart from everyone else's (i.e. hockey camp). Prior to that we used a large duffel bag (which was trashed within a year).

We bought a basic bag like this one to start with

I make sure their bags have wheels b/c they are in charge of rolling it on their own. I don't do it.

My middle still uses that one and my oldest moved on to a hockey tower.

We have had a few- we loved wheeled ones and have something like this:

Ours is a bauer though- make sure you get a junior size one.
