She throws up all day, everyday.

So the fact that you honestly have no idea where her bibs are...is shocking.

Horrifying. Yet telling.

You truly are just a visitor in this house, aren't you.

i know the feeling on a much smaller scale.

we've lived here 7 1/2 months and you don't know where the boy's coat lives? really?

yeah, a visitor in his own house.

I'm so sorry you are having such a rough go of it lately. I am sending tons of p & pt to you and your babes. I hope things start looking up very, very soon.

I don't k ow if this helps or not, but DH was a horrible father for the newborn stage. After they hit 2yo he is awesome, but until then it is like he's visiting...from a different galaxy!

He has said the most clueless stuff, like when DD2 would cry at night, he'd say DD1 never did that. No, the difference was that with DD1 I jumped up and went to her all the flipping time because he SLEPT THROUGH IT. I think at 4 months she was still not sleeping more than 2 hours at a time because of reflux and he has NO MEMORY of this. Because he slept through it. :banghead:

Tahoe heart though, because now he is much, much more attuned to the kids and their needs. If my DH can pull his head out of that dark place yours can too.

I hope this makes you feel better. DS is almost 7 months and DH is the same way. Our bibs are sitting right beside the tale on a stand and he can never find them. He never knows where his clothes are (in the closet!) so when DH dressed him he's always wearing some wierd combination from his drawer.

thanks, guys

i feel better today

was a really rough weekend (shocking, huh?...that i would be complaining)

both kids were sick and DS is crazy on top of being sick

and the fact that DH literally has no idea where the bibs are. he also slipped and admitted while changing her that he has never happened to change a poopy diaper of hers. ever. in four months. b/c he's here so infrequently

but whatever. today is a better day. sun is shinning. DS is in school (out of house). and i actually ate breakfast at a normal pace (not choking it down) b/c she took a nap.
