My 2.5 yr old DD2 is absolutely in love with Mudpuppy puzzles, so if you have a preschooler to buy holiday presents for, I highly recommend them. We have the 12 piece puzzles which she can do with her eyes closed, and the 24 piece jumbo puzzles which are a bit more challenging but she has mastered pretty well. They are SO well made and the right amount of challenge for the toddler set. I haven't tried their puzzles for older kids, but I might try one for DD1. We get ours at a local toy store and I've bought one on amazon.com. We've tried eeboo puzzles, Djeco, Ravensburger, M&D and the Mudpuppy's are definitely our favorite - the Djeco's are probably #2, and M&D definitely lowest on the list.

I have no connection to the Mudpuppy brand but their puzzles have been such a huge hit with us, I decided to give them a shout out! HTH someone.
