How to get puke smell out of microfiber?

We had a puke incident last week on one of our couch pillows. I removed the mircofiber cover, and rinsed it with some dish soap and water. The smell was still stinky so I then put some Nature's Miracle on it, wiped it and let it dry.
There is still a stale smell with a pukey finish.
Is there a way to really get this cover fresh?

Maybe try to sprinkle with baking soda and see if it absorbs the smell? ETA: maybe a solution of vinegar and water too?

We had a similar experience, and I ended up crossing my fingers and throwing it in the wash. It came out so awesome I ended washing all of the covers!

I would try the Nature's Miracle again.

We've also washed our microfiber covers multiple times with great success.

I went for it and just threw the pillow cover into the washing machine, and it turned out good as new!
Thanks for the suggestion- I am seriously challenged in home economics and I was worried I would destroy the cover. I have had so many laundry mishaps throughout the years- too many to count.

This is great to know! I've considered washing my microfiber couch covers for years, but always chickened out. Now I may need to try it!
