Recommend Dress Up Clothes

My 2.5 year old is getting really into dress up now. My older daughter got some cheap dress up clothes when she was about 3 (so 3 years ago) - and they didn't last at all!! And she really didn't even enjoy dress up, so they weren't used that much! I'm looking for nice quality dress up clothes that won't totally break the bank. Recommendations?

If your looking for "princess" dress type, we went to TJ Maxx and purchased some really fancy (and cheap) dressy dresses a few sized too big that DC used for dress up. She loved it!

Some of them have little rips here and there but they have been worn CONSTANTLY for a year now. They wash great and don't have velcro.

Plus the customer service is awesome. I wrote and told them one of the dresses had ripped within a few days of having it. The company sent me a box full of dresses (why we have five ;)) and accessories. I was so impressed and amazed... even a note inside apologizing for the quality issue.

:yeahthat: We have snow white from the above shop. The quality is superb and I love how easy to put on and take off it is. It also washes up great in the laundry. I signed up for the emails and bought a 3 dress set when it was on sale. We have only gifted the snow white dress though, I have the other 2 hidden away for future holidays.

I bought some pettiskirts off the deal sites and those are a big hit for dress up. These wings are great and held up for over a year of abuse:

MIL bought DD a bunch of accessories once. I don't know where she got them. They are all pretty cheap but the shoes have been a hit. DD loves wearing around the 'high heels' (which always makes me laugh since I wear high heels maybe once a year). Also mardi gras beads makes great dress up necklaces.

Ditto on the Little Adventures brand and the dress up shop website. I buy from them often and am very happy. Won't by any other dress up

I saw these and loved them. Didn't know about their quality. Will take another look.

Do they have good deals before the holidays? My 2 yr old's birthday is in Feb, so I usually try to stock up Christmas and Birthday before Christmas when there's good sales on. Just wondering when the best time to purchase is.

Right now I can get 3 dresses (create your own bundle - chose Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty) plus a petticoat for $84 on sale (normally $102).

The other choice I like is the "best of" Princess Bundle which is Princess Anneliese, Cinderella, Tiana, and Rapunzel plus a petticoat for ~$100 (normally $132).
