Are there ever deals to JOIN Costco?

Looking to GIFT a membership to someone - - do they ever have offers/savings to do that? I'm not currently a member - so i was just wondering... Thanks!

I have not seen a deal/discount on memberships, but I have seen "special offers" like a fairly substantial new member coupon book with some really good deals available only with a new membership. I have no idea how to find out if this is available - hopefully someone else can chime in. Good luck.

If you know a member, when you join you get $10 Costco Card & they get $10 Costco Cash Card. That's the only deal I've ever seen. You have to go I store to do it though.

Entertainment Card/coupon book is where my mom got a deal to join Costco. She was also able to gift a membership to us with the same deal. We got some great coupons through the deal for joining I think $50 worth. The membership was also $5 off.
