Title says it all. Poll coming.

We're 10 total, hosted by my parents. My family of 4, my sister's family of 4, and my mom and dad.

15 this year, but every other year we're 20 (when my BIL & his family come to our house).

We will be eating out (:boogie::bag?)

It will be us (4), DH's aunt and uncle (2), DH's cousins (2), DH's grandma (1), and potentially Cousin1's GF, so 9 or 10. It could be 8 if Cousin1 doesn't come at all, but I'd be really surprised if he didn't come.

Not sure. We'll either be between 16 and 19, or over 20. We're not hosting, so I'm not positive how many people are coming to DH's cousin's house, but it's a lot, at least compared to my small family, which is, at a maximum, 8.

11 total - 7 adults & 4 kids (one a baby)

Off to buy chocolate turkeys for the kids table!

The four of us. I wish there were more.

I voted the largest category. I would guess it wouldn't be much more than 20 though. We go to a dear friend's house for Thanksgiving brunch where there are usually about 15 people and then to another friend's for dinner and there are a few more. Now there are five of us and I have three siblings, one is married so that's 12 right there.

Small this year...at my sisters. 5 adults and a 3 yo, 2 yo, and 1 yo

When we're at my IL's it is more like 15-20 - also includes 3 kids of the same ages. (my kids and a different cousin the same age as my DN)

ETA: My kids will each eat more than my sister guaranteed. Not sure where my boys put the food at 1 and 3...but they can put it away!

I can tell you now that DS2 (9 months) will out eat DS1 (5 years) with ease.

We've got dinner plans on Thursday with 12.

Us (3)
MIL/FIL (2)
BIL/SIL & kids (3)
SIL's mom & stepfather (2)

Yup. That's 12, four of whom are kids.

MIL is hosting, but SIL, DH & I are all helping to contribute sides, desserts and appetizers. DH & I also bought the turkey and I'll go over to MIL's house at about T-4 hours before dinnertime to prep & cook the bird like I did last year.

15 of us hosted by me! My family of three, my parents, ILs, SIL, 6 more family members and 1 possible family friend. I start cooking tonight after work (and I'm already tired...).

eta - we have three tables :)

This year will be about 19 (+ 1/3: SIL's newly pregnant :))... my parents are hosting; there will be 8 adults in my immediate family, 7 kids ages 6 and under, and 2 adults & 2 kids from my dad's side. I'm sure it'll be a madhouse... don't even know if my mom's big dining room table, kitchen table, and kitchen island w/bar stools will be enough to hold everyone... maybe my mom will put up a kids' table.

We are exactly 20 this year. I am lucky.... We host but my MIL generally does all the cooking. I need to clean tonight and start setting up tables!

Just the 4 of us this year by our choosing. We needed a break from hosting. Most years it is ~25 ppl at our house. We are the connector between everyone, so if we don't do it then it really won't be everyone and will be a small subset.

Ooh, great idea! We're hosting and will have 10 total this year, 5 kids and 5 adults. The kids would love chocolate turkeys so I may go out to look for some if I have time.

We'll have 26, so it's more like our "Thanksgiving tableS." :) I always host Thanksgiving. Everyone brings food so it's not the cooking that is a lot of work, it's the cleaning. It takes me two days to recover. :dizzy:

Just the 6 of us. Everyone else I in invited already had plans.

I'm such a snot. I'm glad it's just our family so I don't have to clean the house. Oh, and we buying a fully cooked meal for us. It's going to be a rare, lazy, relaxed day. :boogie:

I think this years count is around 32. My parents are hosting this year (alternates between their house and my aunts houses) and that is with 2 of my cousin and their families not coming. My mom is making a 24+ lb turkey and my aunt is also bringing another turkey. We have 1 huge tale and 2 smaller tables set up and we all eat together. We eat around 6 so some of the people coming had an earlier Thanksgiving elsewhere.

8. Us, our two sons and one other couple and their two daughters. My dad is going to my older brothers and my little brother and his family are going to his husband's parents. So we are blissfully spending the day only with friends. No family drama. No cr@ppy food. Woot.

It'll be 16 this year, usually it's 21 people for actual dinner but one of the cousins alternate turkey day with his in laws.

My cousin usually hosts turkey day.

We are hosting, 20-23 total thus far. This is NOT typical. Usually it's 8-9 depending on if DSD is with us. This year SIL and family are flying in so all of the relatives have decided to come (SIL on east coast, rest of IL's in midwest).

I like my 100 year old four square in most regards, but this type of event (need to sit down for a full meal) emphasizes what I don't like - tiny kitchen and no large gathering space. We can sit 10 comfortable at our dining room table so we've bumped up to buffet size for our home and it's going to be a tight squeeze. Luckily mother nature has cooperated so I may be able to seat the kids outside on our deck which will make it all more manageable.

Around 45. This is typical to small for holidays in my family.

Just the 3 of us. It was just the 3 of us for Canadian Thanksgiving as well. We've often had friends or DH's family over, but we're going through a lot of changes this year and the idea of hosting seemed like an added stressor. I'm looking forward to a calm holiday with no drama :)

My sister hosts every year. Our family of 40 is quickly becoming 50 with new babies. It's sit down dinner eating on real china, Johnson Bros. "turkey" plates. The tables are end to end from the livingroom door through the diningroom, with one bathroom, so if you are at one end of the table, you have to go outside and run around the house to get in the other door for the bathroom. She also doen't have a dishwasher, so we wash all those dishes by hand and have a lot of fun doing it. The sisters (and nieces and nephews) all get together today to peel 40 pounds of potatoes and chop onions and celery for the stuffing. We all look forward to this every year and I can't wait for this afternoon!

80 and that is small for us.

Dad's family is huge. Grandma passed away 20 years ago, but this is the one time all of her kids, grandkids, great-GK and now great-great-GK attempt to get together. So 75-100 people every year.

We've rented the same community center for over 30 years and this is the only meal I know. Three aunts rotate "hosting" by setting up and assigning dishes. This year is Mom's turn, so we'll be there early to help her.

I voted for 20, but we're really only 19. My parents, my sister, BIL, and 3 DC...my brother, SIL and 3 DC...DH, me and 3 DC and my MIL and FIL. We no longer do my e tended family since many aunts, uncles and 17 first cousins are all married with many DC of their own!

We will be 10 immediate family plus whoever else decides to stop by. My sister will make tons of food and we can easily accommodate 15 plus. We are going to friends tomorrow and doing our family dinner Friday.

Just 15 this year, because due to some SIL drama, MIL wants to do a small gathering at her house rather than with the whole family. When it's everyone there are about 30, +/-.

My family would have more than 60 people, but they're all in California and I'm stuck in the Midwest. :(

DH is gone again this year so it's just me and the boys. I just didn't want to do the holiday surrounded by a ton of other couples/families that get to be together.

We're going to have pjs, football food, and a couple of hours at the beach.
