Where did you get Christmas stockings from?

I'd like to get 4 personalized stockings this year (for my kids and nephews) - what's a good quality stocking that will hold up over the years? I like the PBK ones, but seems a little pricey? I also need a style that will be around in the next few years, in case we get any more nephews or nieces, so that they can all match!

I bought ours from Lands' End. They are great! They are often on sale, as low as $9.99 after the holidays, if you have additional family members you would like to include for the next year.

My mom makes (crochets) all of them for our family. I've made 5 or 6 so the tradition will live on. She embroiders names or initials on the top. I've had mine for 36 years...it is stretched and getting thread bare in a few spots so..but it is fun because our whole family has these stockings.

Yes, I took advantage of the LE sale last year for all 6 stockings with free monogramming. They were on sale plus there was a code of some sort so I only payed $38 for all of the including shipping and tax. Super nice too.

Thanks for sharing this! We have stockings that my mom knit for all of us, but they can't really be hung from the mantle. I'm so excited that I found all our names with cute things on them.

My mom knitted mine for me when I was a baby.

I bought DH his in 2002 I think from Crate & Barrel. It is getting replaced this year.

DD1's is almost identical to the PBK ones, although it is smaller, but design and appliqué wise they are almost identical. It came from Target and I haven't seem them there since 2006.

DD2's is from PBK.

I also bought a new PBK stocking for DH, but now I am thinking of giving that one to DD1 and giving DH DD1's. Thankfully my mom embroiders and we didn't have them professionally monogrammed.

If I had known about the Uglysofa.com site in 2010 I would have bought DD2's site there vs. the actual store, but I have been super happy with DD2's stocking and if I had to replace mine I'd get another one.

Ours don't all match. Mine was a gift. I don't love it, but I haven't replaced it. DH, DS, and now DD all have embroidered ones from Land's End. I like the Lands End ones. The dog has a huge plain red stocking that can fit a big bone, and the cat has a small felt one with a kitty on it.

Ooh, I LOVE those Company Kids stockings! But I just went to order online, and of course they are sold out of the fairy design that would have been perfect for DD (surrounded by 3 boys in the family!) That price was amazing - and I found a 15% off code online too, if anyone else is interested....

It really is pbk stuff (uglywhere chairs=anywhere chairs except they use their own foam inserts). They do have questionable customer service though, an "F" on BBB and some users here had issues as well. Its is but what they have done is cut off part of the stocking that was white and moved the gingham up. So if you are matching to ones you already have, they won't match. Eh. I wouldn't purchase from them personally.
