Is there a way to get them without a fee? Usually there's a $6 fee. I would prefer get these GC for DDs PreK teachers but rather not pay extra.

I've never seen them without a fee. Even when Amex runs its specials, you still pay a fee to get the actual card.

Chase bank offer no fee for their Visa gift cards. I know it is available in NYC. It's a benefit for certain accounts.

I've given Discover Card ones. If you have a cashback bonus balance to "buy" then the cards don't have a fee.

If anyone has a TD Bank near them they have cards for no charge as well

Remember too though that these cards start deducting a monthly fee from the gc balance if not used in a certain amount of time.

I prefer to give cash or a gc from a particular store.
