I got one earlier today, and have mixed feelings about the purchase. Has anyone had real life experience with it? There are a lot of very positive Amazon reviews, but some real stinkers complaining about poor performance.

Best Buy has great customer service, so I would assume if you are having trouble you could exchange it for another. I have read quite a few reviews on "tech" websites that rave about the quality of this tablet, and that the price can't be beat.

There is also some question as to whether some of the reviews are actually for the first generation Nabi. I think that one had some issues. Hopefully the new one has worked the bugs and glitches out. I've talked to a few parents whose kids have this new version and they are all very happy with it.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm cautiously optimistic. Also, it is a really really good deal, hope second child will still be happy with his leap pad because big sis is not a good sharer.

It was. Then it would be available every once and a while refreshing. I've also heard they will match the price in store. I would call and see if they will or have any in stock if you have a store nearby. Some stores are telling people they can't sell them until Friday I guess, others are letting them buy more than 1 no problem.
