Gift for male teacher

Seems like this is harder than buying for their female teachers! Ideas? Gift card to Dicks Sporting goods? He's not a coffee drinker so Starbucks is out. iTunes?

I got DS's teacher Target gift cards last year, though a sporting goods gc isn't a bad idea if you know he is into something specific. DS has the same teacher this year and he like bicycling, so maybe I'll go that route this year.

DD is in 1st grade and has a male teacher so I will be watching this thread. What about a GC to something like Home Depot or Lowes? a GC to a restaurant?

We have Sheetz on every corner around here...a gas station/convenience store/fast food type place. So I get the male teachers gift cards for use there.

In the past we've done Klean Kanteens, or hockey puck shaped soap (http://www.etsy.com/listing/63600975/hockey-puck-soap-sports-fan-bath-body). One year I did gc for all the teachers (male and female) to a local bookstore.

DH teaches 4th. REI would be the most preferred. Basically anything that cannot be used for anything "household" because I always take those :)

DS1 had a male teacher last year and we bought him an Amazon GC because we knew he had a Kindle and was a reader! Target GC's seem to go over well too. I would assume a gift pack for movie tickets would be appreciated as well.

Yeah, I did Amazon and Target gift cards last year for the kids' teachers, and though they were all females, I'm sure male teachers would like those, too.
Agree with PPs that Barnes & Noble or REI would also be good; maybe Best Buy, too?

We buy Amazon, B&N, Whole Foods (2 in town), Trader Joe's, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts or Target, regardless of gender.

I would steer clear of anything sports or outdoors related unless you know they are into that kind of thing. Not all men are.

I think Amazon GCs are a universal hit. Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks is a close second.
