I know Target and Best Buy have some deals where you get gift cards when you buy an iPod.

Does anyone know who has the "best" deal? For an 8G or 16G 4th generation?

I just bought DD an 8g refurbished touch at the apple online store for $129.xx. They replace the battery and the shell so that is new. There is also a 1yr warranty.

We've only ever owned refurbished ipods and never had any problems. DH & I have a couple of ancient nanos that are still going strong. DS has had a refurb ipod touch for a year now with no issues. I just bought another one for work.

We've been buying Apple refurbs for years - iPods, MacBooks, iMacs, etc. Best deal and a solid product. I'm pretty picky and have never regretted it.
