Tegu Blocks?

Does anyone have tegu blocks in their families? They look cool and entertaining for kids on the run (in restaurants).

Any deals? Seems pricey at $31.99 for pocket pouch of 8.

My DD got a big set and a case for Christmas last year. She likes them but doesn't love them. I'm glad that I didn't pay for them!

Ruelala.com has them featured right now. A 6 pack pocket set is $19.90 and $10 shipping. The 8 piece pocket set is $22.90 and the large 52 piece sets start at $99. I have a $30 credit there and was looking for something to use it on, and these look neat. Not sure if my girls would enjoy them a ton though. Trying to decide between this and the Alex hopscotch rug.......

We had some and I resold them on eBay (for WAY more than I bought them for!). I love the idea of them but we have Magnatiles and it's too similar for my kids. And we never brought them to restaurants either. But they are cool.
