Moving AGAIN!!!

For the 4th time since mid-August, we will be moving into a new place! Our DC have been so sick since we moved into this older house that has multiple problems. DH just negotiated a 4 month, then month-to-month lease for a 10 year old condo - single story, 2300sf, really, really nice, that's very close to the ILs' retirement village. It's in a walkable neighborhood, and we'll stay at our current elementary (2.7 miles away) until we buy a house.

I'm tired as can be, but SO relieved we can go to a new place that seems to have neutral-smelling air, likely has not had any leaks or problems like the other places have had. Clearly, we have the next few days to start our move, so prayers for safety and efficiency and parental energy are appreciated. We haven't been able to use 2/3 of this house because of horrid smells, a 10 degree temperature differential, and so on. Our stuff is not organized like I'd want it to be, except for the bedrooms, mostly. But...we've gotta go. It'll be a great place to spend the rest of the fall and winter. The widow landlord moved into one of the houses around the corner from the condo - one that we looked at this summer and she wants to sell this place when we're done and the season picks up. We feel so blessed to be able to leave this place. I hope all goes well when DH informs the current landlord of our plans.

You know what I'm most excited about???? (Maybe this should go in the stroller forum) We'll be able to use our beloved Bugaboo with a wheeled board to go to the grocery store. DS2 (or whomever) can hitch a ride and our groceries can go in the bassinet. :bouncy:

Thanks, all! We haven't made a plan of "how" to get there ASAP yet, but I'm guessing it'll be something like taking our shower bags, Aerobeds, and 4 days' worth of clothing, plus all the food in our fridge. That's been a common theme for the summer.

I think we're going to try a different kid-bunking situation this time. Oldest DD and youngest - DS2 but I can't decide if I should put the little guy on a trundle under her bed or give them the bunks - that we've never constructed before. It would be a good time to try it out for a little bit, I think. Poor DS1 just needs his own sleeping space.
