home alone on t day

Home alone on thanksgiving. Do not want to ruin dd's day but I cannot stomach inlaws. Seriously get anxiety/rage attack and nausea. It is for the best really but I am tired of feeling so all alone.

I'm so sorry you spent your day alone! I hope you and your DD were able to spend the day together at least. I can imagine that your IL's must be really really bad to make you literally sick. You are better off staying away. Happy Thanksgiving regardless...must make you thankful that you are NOT like them.

Thanks! She spent day with them. Thwy are her family too and i do not wanr to shortchange her where that is concerned.

Ah, :grouphug:. You did the right thing for her by sending her. Hope you at least had some nice quiet time to relax, read or whatever you wanted! I hate that this time of year can be so stressful for people with toxic families! It stressful enough just doing the normal stuff. Glad you have yourself the break from them.
