Which elph?

I got the 110HS at amazon with a free case and memory card for $129
http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-Stabilized-Wide-Angle-Recording/dp/B006UMM1UO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1353680031&sr=8-1&keywords=elph

There is a similar deal at bestbuy, office depot (i think) and adorama
http://www.adorama.com/ICAE110BKA.html The adorama deal has a smaller memory card but includes a tripod

I don't know if it's technically an elph, but the S100 is a GREAT camera and it's the deal of the day at amazon for $229. Amazon is running some good deals on camera. I almost bought the Canon ELPH 110 but decided to go with the Sony DSC-WX150 due to good low light images.

Thanks! Considering both Canons for my parents.

Kristac, how did you get the free card and case? I see the deal on that page, but when I choose them to add to cart, I get charged for both of them.

Get the S100! DH bought me the S95 on BF a couple years ago (without consulting me, I was quite aggravated!) and I absolutely love it. And he paid more than that!

ETA: it takes amazing low-light photos and video in stereo. I can't recommend it highly enough.

It looks like a great camera. At one point I was considering Canon SX260 HS too but gave up because of the pop up flash. Do you find it bothers you that the flash needs to pop out? I'm concerned that when we hand it to outsiders to take a pic they'll hold exactly where the flash is. My other concern is since with kids, I tend to take pictures single handed, and fear the flash will bother me.

I really don't use flash, tbh! That would definitely annoy me, though!

To the OP, DH says the S100 isn't as well loved as the 90. If you have more money to spend, the Sony DSC-RX100 is awesome!

The 110 HS is now showing as $99 in black. It is OOS but you can still place an order at that price. Free case and memory card as well.

I was able to get a price adjustment through chat as I bought it at $129 on thanksgiving.

I placed an order last night and called back just now. They agreed to a price adjustment for me, too. I'm thrilled as this is a gift for dd.

Would you say this is a good camera for low light? I need a smaller camera to keep in my diaper bag and our DSLR is not exactly good for those quick moments.
Any other recommendations for a point and shoot within $100?

It gets good reviews for low light. I have not gotten mine yet but I am hopeful it will do well in those situations.
