I've seen $20 razor scooters to there today...is this one worth the price?

My DD is 4 and loves her Maxi Kick! We never had a Razor, though, so I can't compare them.

DD1 who's 4 loves her Mini Kick. Should I buy the Maxi for DD1 and pass down the Mini to DD2, she'll be 2 next march and already trying to attempt to ride the mini. Maybe by next summer DD2 will be fighting with DD1 for the Mini.

Or am I crazy to buy something that might not get used till next summer?

We have scooter weather year round, so I can't comment on that part...but that is what we did with DS1. He got a maxi when he turned 4 and passed the mini down to DS2 (who was 2). They both LOVE their scooters and I have had zero regrets buying them (which I can't say for a lot of their toys).

i bought the maxi for my soon to be 5 year old on the kickboardusa website. i used "toobigformini" and i believe that brought it to 107 with free ship :)
