DD has one and loves it! It's very light and can be set for smaller kids (e.g., the seat goes waaaay down).

Wow that's a great price! DS loved his Strider, he learned to ride a bike using the Strider.

They are also for sale same price on Overstock.com. I was debating on it for 19 month DS1 and was wondering if that was a good price, so thanks for confirming that it's a good price at least!

I think that they're about to sell out at o.co. They also have some plasma cars (different brand I think) on there for $36.

I am intrigued by the price on this. Any pros or cons to the Strider over other balance bikes?

Can this be an inside toy for the winter? I was thinking of a plasma car, too. Thoughts on these for use inside? When we got the Maxi's the kids rode them inside for quite a bit.
ETA- Rody Max will be under the tree as well for 5yo dd2.

DD rode hers inside when I got it for her. And if you are cool with your kids riding maxis inside, then I would say it would be cool.

Only the orange is showing up at that price for me. But still, a nice color!

Great price! Snap it up if you're in the market for a balance bike! My girls are really slow on gross motor skills and we got these at age 3 and they were not interested in them for about a year. But then we watched some videos and now they love to ride! They figured out the balancing concept very quickly and the main hurdle now is confidence, speed, and steering. But if we find a mild slope, they will coast for a good 10 seconds with their feet up!

I think we got ours at overstock last year for this price. It's a great bike, so adjustable and so light - the girls can easily lift them up on their own when they need to turn it around, etc. We will definitely be going straight to pedal bikes once they master steering and gain confidence with speed.

And yes - they ride inside all the time. If you have mostly hard floors and a good "path" for practicing, they can definitely get a lot of the practicing done inside:) Just keep in mind it's more slippery inside esp if your floors get dusty or you have dog hair on the floors - the wheels won't grip as well as they do concrete.

GREAT bike. My DS1 got his at Christmas when he was 16 months and started riding it right away. He still loves it at almost 3.5 and is super fast!!!

Awesome deal for an awesome product. My son was cruising on a two-wheeled bike at age 2 because of the Strider. We LOVE it!

Just bought one in orange. Looks like that is the only one currently at the $68 price point. Thanks for posting!

Not getting it yet but thanks for the heads up about it! I'll be on the lookout for one for DD's 4th birthday this spring.
