DS is obsessed with our camera. saw this in a catalog and thought it would be a great Christmas gift. but the reviews are awful

any other suggestions? obviously not looking for/expecting fantastic quality. just want it to be durable and work well enough.

DD has the Kid Tough Fisher price one. She has had it for about a year and likes it a lot. I know people in reviews complain about the picture quality, but we have never actually printed the pics she takes. She just likes being able to take pics (and videos- it does both) and then look thru them on the camera. I got it on clearance at Target for $30 or so. It has held up really well- it has been dropped many times over the past year and works fine after each drop!

DD1 has a vtech one and she loves it. It is very durable and holds tons of pictures. Even DD2 uses it, and drops it ;)

Like pp, I have never printed her pictures from it....she just likes taking pictures, reviewing them and playing the two games it offers.
