I need to make something special for an event at church this week. I am traveling this week and am sick, so time and effort are not things I have.
Debating apple bread pudding with a carmel sauce (sauce will be store bought potentially).

Baked Brie in puff pastry. Super easy if you have a Whole Foods nearby bc they have some pre assembled and ready to bake.
Not as easy as baked brie but these are fancy-looking and can be done ahead (even easier if you do what one commenter mentions and shape the dough into a log, freeze 30 min and slice and bake):

I have a jar of Dalmatia fig spread waiting to make these.
Or if you have access to a Meyer lemon or two, this lemon tart is super easy (regular lemons would be too tart/ bitter) and the whole filling (including unpeeled lemon). I pressed a Trader Joe's or Pillsbury crust into a tart pan as in the headnote.
