I have to get a gift for a 4 year old who loves How to Train Your Dragon. I'm assuming he already has the DVD. He can't read the books yet. What's out there? Surprisingly, I didn't find a whole lot of merchandising when I googled it. Maybe I missed it somehow? Any suggestions. I can spend up to $50.

Thanks.

Have you seen the Imaginext Dragon? http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-W9554-Imaginext-Castle-Dragon/dp/B007J3F9V6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1354452077&sr=8-1&keywords=imaginext+dragon

It's really neat, and cheaper than the Amazon price in-store at Walmart.

Walmart used to have exclusive rights on How to Train Your Dragon merchandise. Not sure what all they have left in store but nothing except bedding online.

Here's the imaginext dragon

This book is fun for younger kids

Amazon has some plushes or costumes that might be fun

Or you could check ebay.

Another idea, from another thread on this board, a dragon/knight reversible superhero cape:

My kids both just got "My Dragon Pets" at the Texas Renaissance Festival and they are played with often. We actually just watched the movie last night with the pet dragons. They glow in the dark and can wrap around your wrist. I'm pretty sure we have the "baby dragons" selling for $25.
