One of these days we're going to convert DS1's bed to the toddler setting. But I just realized that there is no rail. You just take the front panel off. Should we buy an aftermarket rail? Does that exist for a converted crib? Or should we just buy an IKEA toddler bed that's lower to the ground?
This is the crib we have and the link shows how it converts.

I put a fat pool noodle under the fitted sheet. Seems to work great!

I did the exact same thing and we never had any issues with him rolling out of bed

I 4th the pool noodle. Cheap, easy and works like a charm. Plus I did a LOT of research and found that most aftermarket rails don't work well with the convertible cribs due to the "lip" created by the front board.
Also...using a pool noodle means that LO's can get out of the bed easily when they need to...but generally don't roll out when sleeping. At least that was our experience.

Ours had no rail and I tried the pool noodle, DS1 took it right out. I bought a universal rail but we ended up not using it, it didnt fit. We put the changing psd next to the crib for a few weeks to catch him if he fell. He fell a few times but stopped quickly.
So your crib doesn't have a toddler rail kit you can buy? We had to buy ours seperate from the actual crib....also had to buy the conversion kit to make it a full size bed when she's ready.
I didn't buy the toddler rail kit for DD2. I'm planning on using the one for DD1's bed and if that doesn't fit, then we'll try the pool noodle.

From the link, it looks like your crib has 3 stages:
1) regular crib
2) converted crib
3) toddler bed
Are you asking about stage 2 or 3?
Are others suggesting the noodle for stage 2 or 3?
I'd try an aftermarket rail for stage 2 and the pool noodle for stage 3. I think a kid in stage 2 could just take out the noodle.

Thanks! Yes I'm asking about stage 2. I don't think they have a toddler rail because it would be listed there next to the conversion to queen rails.
I think I also like the idea of a rail because it would be a bit of psychological reminder to DS1 that he needs to stay put as well.

Our kit didn't come with a rail either. Dd fell out once or twice but that was it. She was so close to the floor that it wasn't a big deal.
