Does any B&M store sell Duplos in smalls sets like this (http://www.amazon.com/Lego-Duplo-1657-Prescholl-Bird/dp/B0044MMKVC/ref=sr_1_22?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1354632879&sr=1-22&keywords=duplos)? I know Target sells regular Legos in smaller sets for stocking stuffers or what not, but I need Duplos for DS. The closest store to me is WalMart, but I will drive out to Target if they carry them. TIA if you have any info for me!

Walmart had a black friday box of duplos for $15 for 85 pieces. Of the 2 Walmarts near me, one was sold out & the other had dozens left. I haven't seen a box that looked liked that ever.

I have only seen them at the Lego stores at the mall. The boxes for the small duplo sets are pretty big and might not fit in regular stockings. Here is an example of the small duplo sets.

This one is especially adorable: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Baby-Zoo-4962

The one you linked is definitely a discontinued set based on the style of the box. It will pretty much only be available via online resellers.

The Walmart Black Friday set is 19.96 on the website now. It is available for store pick-up if your local store still has them in stock. It is a nice set, but not stocking size if you're looking for a stocking stuffer.

Thanks! We ended up going with a similar set and separating each piece into baggies. Much less expensive, and exactly what I was looking for.

wow, that's an old box. I remember that packaging design from my childhood.

They have the read and build sets now at target, which I think come with just a few pieces.

LOL, I realized after I posted just how old that set is. I just wanted small sets, but it was cheaper to make my own. Fine by me! :)
