At Pottery Barn Kids, today's gift of the day are the Spencer Bento Box containers for $10 and free shipping. We have two and love them. My kids adore the "secret compartment" and I like that there aren't a lot of little containers and lids to wash. http://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/spencer-bento-box-containers/?cm_re=12HolD1-_-Hero-_-GOTDBentoBoxes

Thanks! I just ordered one for DD1. I bought one for DD2 earlier this year and love it. DH likes it too. I was just getting ready to buy DD1 some more ziploc bento containers, but this is better.

Thank you! I had a $10.00 gift card I received with my last purchase that was burning a hole in my pocket! Got 1 for each DD.

Ooh, they are running that promotion again. I hope to get some more coupons. I got one with my 4th of July order, which is how I bought DD2's and got it for free. The store had them mis marked for $10 vs. the $16.50 so the $10 coupon fit the bill.

Sold out already!

Bummed since DS1 lost his laptop lunch box the last week of summer camp and I didn't want to order him a new one. This would have been a good alternative.

They seem to be in stock, I can add them to my cart. There is a note on what to do if they go out of stock but it looks like they're available....

You may want to check again. I just ordered three. It looks like it is the lavender box that is out of stock.

My bad, I was looking at the line that said "view items no longer available" thinking it meant they were all sold out.

Thanks for having me check again!

Eeek - I have 2 in my cart but then I started reading the reviews and now I'm not so excited. If you are using them already, can you post your experience good and bad? Thanks!!

Just seeing this now, sorry so no idea if you ordered. I asked about them here before I bought the one for DD2 and I think I maybe got three posts, but I got it anyway.

I was really hesitant about buying one for DD2 (she takes her lunch to daycare every Friday), and was on the fence when I was in the store and had my $10 off coupon handy and thought WTH? I might as well and if I hate it I only paid $6 for it. Turns out the store had they marked down by mistake for $9.99 so it was free.

I love the item, as does DH and it is important that he likes it because he usually makes the lunch. I have never tried to put anything wet in it and the little door sometimes doesn't stay 100% closed, but we haven't had any spillage issues with it as we usually use it for nuts, carrots, animal or fish crackers.

I ended up buying one for DD1 as well.
