My kids love to read in the car and in their rooms so I wanted to get them some nice book lamps. Any recs?

I got a decent LED one shaped like a gooseneck desk lamp at Target about 6 years ago. It takes regular AAA batteries, not the circular NiCd batteries, so I feel a bit safer having it around DD.

Before that I had an "itty bitty book light" which I liked OK, but it was terrible for paperbacks. It's also REALLY pricey for what you get.

It's similar to this one:

I think I've had MightyBright brand before and liked it OK, but I'd be sure that the batteries the thing takes were easy to get before purchasing one.

I usually get them at the Dollar Tree. They last a good long time until my kids loose them.

That said I am considering getting them adjustable headlamps to use as book lights.
