FP Healthy Care Booster cleaning?

Is it going to be a problem for me to run this ENTIRE thing (http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-Rainforest-Healthy-Care-Booster/dp/B000WUF4LS/ref=sr_1_1?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1354740358&sr=1-1&keywords=rainforest+booster)through the dishwasher? I just bought one on Craigslist and although it was only $10, it really wasn't as clean as I would have hoped. Also can I soak the straps in oxyclean? Just need this for travel, so not a huge deal but want to get it looking better than this!

I wouldn't hesitate to run it through my dishwasher, but I have a Bosch so there is no heating element on the bottom and I can put plastic anywhere. Before I had this dishwasher I used to fill up the tub and let it soak and then scrub. I also removed the straps and ran them through the washing machine.

Sitting it in the tub for several hours with dish washing detergent works wonders.
