His Xmas album is one of my favorites of the season, and Dave digs Disney is pretty cool as well. The first real concert in a jazz club I ever went to was a show of his weeks after just starting college, got asked by a boy (OMG- a date?!?), thought I was living the good life!

so sad. he's amazing! i just got his take five cd for my dad to replace his old worn out one. and was just playing the take five song for dd when we were tlaking about odd time signatures!

RIP Dave Brubeck. I grew up on his music and took DD1 to hear him play a few years ago. Thanks for the jazz!
