It was less than $3, I think I paid $2.56. Got awesome reviews on Amazon. It was marked at the clearance price, but rang up at $9.99 which must have been the intermediate clearance price. They adjusted it for me.

Just a buyer beware--I bought this this summer on clearance and just gave it to DS1 but it was a huge disappointment--it doesn't work at all. :(
