I just left Target. They have ride-ons for 70 percent off. Power wheels-type things. I snagged a Mini Cooper for $90, they also had camaros and Barbie 4wheelers. They were FLYING out of the store.

This is the toy that when I was a child, always signified to me that a kid was really rich, and I never imagined buying one for my own kids. But for 70 percent off I couldn't resist.

I totally agree with your view that this was a "really rich" toy when I was little!!

Just to confirm that, I saw a Mercedes one there the other day. It made me LOL. And of course now I'll go back to see if they still have it. :rotflmao:

The cars say 2 and 3 years and up. DD is a tall 4 yo. Can she fit well in it? How long can she use this car?

Also noticed there are 12v and 6v ones, what power would you prefer?

Honestly, I know nothing about these kinds of cars. The one I got was a 12v, but only because that's the one that was available. :-)

I honestly never looked at these for my kids before; I only bought because it was so cheap.

FYI - one of the kids in my neighborhood has one and all ages from 2.5-8 play with this.

If it's a bigger kid, you will definitely want a 12v. The 6v only go between 1 and 2 mph.

FWIW, DS got one of these for Christmas when he was 4. He got the Ford Pickup. He is 8 and still loves this thing as do all of the kids in the neighborhood (ages 2 - 10)! We didn't get a super deal on it, but it was by far the most favorite gift he's ever received!

I am in Raleigh and have checked two different Targets with no luck... Where in NC are you???
