Is there some kind of coffee of the month club that anyone can recommend? DH wants some kind of coffee something or other for Christmas. He metioned something about some kind of inverse percolator type of thing???
He got a French press earlier this year and really likes that.
Any other ideas?

Any ideas?? I guess this is what DH had in mind:

I am wondering about the coffee of the month thing though. I feel like this vacuum thing is just another toy that DH doesn't really need.

Check out Zingerman's Coffee Club.

I don't have much experience with their coffee, but love everything I've tried from there. A foodie's dream! Maybe you can combine it with a pastry club subscription from there as well...

Intelligentsia has a coffee club/subscription service, as does Terroir/ George Howell.

Intelligentsia is supposed to be the best out there, if they have a club I'd do that. Peets has some nice gift packs if you want to go that route. I've heard the reverse percolator thing makes good coffee, and is cool, but the novelty wears off. Then you have a lovely sculpture in your cabinet. :)

I love this coffee review site. I often buy my coffee loving friends coffee with 94+ points from this site. Today I'm giving them a really nice Johnson Brothers Karatu coffee. So caramely and smooth! PTs consistently gets great reviews. I'm going to try them next. Perhaps they have a coffee club or gift solution.

They're not reviewed on that site, but we love Brooklyn Roasting Company coffees. It looks like they have a coffee-of-the-month club.
