Today, LLB's "holideal" is 30% off all fleece lined hoodies. These hoodies are really soft and nice. The boys and girls hoodies are $28 after the 30% sale, and there is a coupon code for an additional 10% off (code is JOY10), making them around $25. If you buy 2, then you spend $50 and get a $10 gift card.

I saw this post before I saw my email from LL Bean, LOL. DH is sitting on the couch wearing his Katahdin hoodie that I got him last year. Meanwhile, I own two of these and my kids each have one and wear them as outerwear except for the coldest days here in New England. We love these hoodies! Just ordered the next size up for my kids.

Thank you!!! We have the old version of it and my son loved it! Ordered 2 more in different sizes and even found a plus size hooded zip in my size for only $19.99!!!

Thanks, I ordered one for DH and accidentally got a pair of slippers for me. ;) Plus I used a coupon code from the other thread!

Thinking of buying one for at least DS1 if not both boys. Is this thin enough to stay on in car seats? Warm enough for 20's and 30's (ish)- at least to/from the car and back?

Thanks!

Yes IMO for car seats. I wouldn't wear it by itself much below 50ish, but to/from car would be fine.

My girls are warmblooded but Linnea wears hers in the 30's walking home from school with no trouble. It probably depends on your kids but it works for us. It's definitely thin enough for car seats and I would be fine with wearing them to and from the car into the upper 20's probably if the car was already warmed.
