Two great jazz Christmas albums:

Dave Brubeck's Christmas album
Duke Ellington's Nutcracker Suite

here are a few I like.
I like a Christmas gift to you from Phil Spector (http://www.amazon.com/Christmas-Gift-You-Phil-Spector/dp/B000003BD7)(if you can get over the phil spector part.)

Duke Ellington's nutcracker suite. (http://www.amazon.com/The-Nutcracker-Suite/dp/B004GY5E0W/ref=sr_1_4?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1355012220&sr=1-4&keywords=nutcracker+suite+jazz) (oops, just saw PP posted this too--it's really great + I'd second her Brubeck too).

Some songs from Now that's what I call Christmas! (http://www.amazon.com/Now-Thats-What-Call-Christmas/dp/B00005OLYC/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1355012285&sr=1-1&keywords=now+that%27s+what+I+call+christmas+lennon )

Ah you beat me to it....I was going to suggest the Buble album. I bought it on a whim last year and it is still my very favorite to date...I think it is almost impossible to be in a bad mood while listening to it!

Charlie Brown Christmas
Harry Connick Jr, Harry for the Holidays
The Perfect Christmas (a compilation)

I prefer a mix so I just create playlists and keep searching out new songs on iTunes.

i really like the pink martini christmas CD-- in fact, it was the thing i was looking forward to most post thanksgiving and then i spent two days looking for the CD. it was making me crazy! it's very ecletic and has the absolute BEST version of "do you hear what i hear" and "auld lange syne"

i'm a big fan on bing crosby-- he sounds like my grandpa -- so i have a good cd of his christmas songs.

i'm also a sucker for starbucks holiday....that's how i discovered my pink martini love :) (they have the buble cd featured right now, so i'm surprised i don't have that ;))

Were we separated at birth? This is the most wonderful Christmas album ever made. Some songs are funny and some are so beautiful they make me cry.

Punk Rock Christmas.

My husband worked retail for 6 years and 6+ years later still suffers from a hatred of holiday music. We don't listen to much holiday music with vocals. If it sounds like it would be played in a Macy's store it is off limits.

I second the Harry Conick Jr cd. I also really like the SheDaisy Christmas album. It has some really nice arrangements of traditional Christmas songs and some originals that I like a lot too.

They're probably NYC-area specific, and kind of dated, but I'm partial to the WCBS-FM 101.1 "Ultimate Christmas Album" CDs. They have 25 "hits" for the 25th of December - recordings range from the Temptations' rendition of 'Silent Night' to 'Silver Bells' as sung by Diana Ross, and a lot of "oldies" artists, including the Jackson 5.

OK, so a few songs are turkeys ('Dominic the Donkey' recorded by Lou Monte, for example) but the rest of them are pretty neat. The 2nd album also includes the spoken-word 'May You Always' by the "Morning Mayor," Harry Harrison:

http://www.musicradio77.com/mayyou.html

We're also partial to the Vince Guraldi Trio music for the Charlie Brown Christmas TV special.

And, of course ... DH has some Christmas mega-mixes too and we love to play those in our house.
