I was about to post this! DH (yah that's right) wants a bean bag. They are currently on sale for 30% off plus FS at PBTeen (but they still include the shipping surcharge? hmmm.) Wondering how they hold up.

DDs got ones from LE, maybe 3-4 years ago. I think the insert broke open so we can never take off the slipcover - there will be tiny foam beads or whatever it is everywhere. They seem to have flattened out over the years. They love them though.

We have a FOOF chair. The one we have it pretty huge. DS really likes it.

ETA: Looks like we may actually have a FUF chair http://www.comfortresearch.com/index.asp. Not sure if they are the same maker or not. Ours wasn't as expsensive as the ones in the link I posted above. Looks like Walmart might sell some of the FUF brand, we may have gotten it from there.

We have a ginormous Love Sac that was a hand me down from some friends who re-did their family room. It's held its shape better than any bean bag type thing I've seen (probably 7-8 years old). I think they're expensive though...

We have 2 7.5ft beanbags in our family room from www.comfysacks.com. They are great. Washable covers. Similar to Love Sac brand but these were much cheaper.

All of ours live in the basement now, because they take up too much room for my taste, but we have these stuffed animal holders from Boon:

They're only a bit smaller than your average bean bag chair, and they hold a ton of stuffed animals. They're expensive, but for us they were worth every penny! We have 2.

We replaced our family room couch with 4 Lovesac Pillowsacs. They are insanely comfy! I also have a Yogibo in the playroom, which is also very comfy but it makes noise like a regular bean bag chair. Lovesacs are filled with actual furniture foam, not styrofoam, so they're not noisy at all.

I'm having a hard time picturing how this huge thing would look in my living room. Would anyone be willing to post a picture of theirs? I like the look of the big Joe pillow from walmart but I don't like any of their colors, I'd prefer beige or brown.

Don't know about the Big Joe pillow, but I looked at ours and we have the FUF chair by Comfort Research (http://www.comfortresearch.com/products/fuf/index.asp). We have the Large (4 ft). It is essentially a cylinder that is 4 ft. across by 2 ft. high. Here is a picture of it next to our recliner. It doesn't stay that puffy all the time, though.

I wanted a big floor pillow for the girls to lounge on while watching TV or reading... basically a more comfy dog bed type pillow. ;) I ended up buying round Papasan cushions from Pier 1. They work great.

Those Fuf ones look good - but they are not available until after Christmas. :( I might go for it anyway since DH will understand!

I think I want a really big floor pillow so that its more comfy when playing on the floor. I realize now that I don't really want a chair. Any other suggestions for large floor pillows?

We have 5 Love Sacs in our basement family room. We got them all at a huge discount when they were closing some of their corporate stores and they are awesome. They are comfy and they wear like iron. They are guaranteed never to go flat. We have changed some of the covers since this picture was taken and you can only see 3 of them. We have 2 smaller ones as well.
