Ok, so I finally got boots I like (the Dansko Aurora's (http://www.rei.com/product/820474/dansko-aurora-boots-womens?preferredSku=8204740005&cm_mmc=cse_pricegrabber-_-datafeed-_-product-_-na&mr:referralID=6200eac1-44f6-11e2-b779-001b2166c62d)). They are mid-calf leather slouch boots in black. I got them to wear with dresses and leggings but I'm wondering when else I will be using them. I'm in California, not a very cold weather place, and I am wondering if I am going to get much use out of them other than with dresses and leggings. I don't wear skinny jeans - most of mine are bootcut. I don't do skirts much. I do love dresses but don't usually wear them on the coldest days. I pretty much live in jeans or trousers for work meetings. Do you wear boots under non-skinny jeans? Tuck your jeans into boots? Or are these going to be worn only on the days I wear dresses (which is not so often)? Thanks for any ideas!
