Applecare for IPAD worth it?

is apple care worth it? Does it cover drops?

We usually get the applecare warranty. It has really helped us a lot of times. One time, I accidentally put DH's very new phone into the wash machine. DH dropped and broke various phones over the past few years, and it was covered. Sometimes, our phones just break down after the initial warranty wears off. It is nice to get it fixed so we can use it for a while longer.

We haven't had any problems with our ipad yet, but our kids are a little older now and always play with them, so you never know! We have had a good experience with the applecare warranty customer service.

I have bought it for my iphone and ipad. I would ask exactly what it covers prior to purchase but I just replaced 2 iphones in a week because the one they gave me didnt work right. ($400).
