I am truly bewildered by how some people can be so filled with hatred and genuinely believe they are fulfilling any kind of spiritual calling. The Westboro Baptist Church has announced their plans to demonstrate at Sandy Hook.

As someone who has seen so much of their hate for going on 20 years now, it is not meant to be understood. First encountered them in the "free speech" zone on campus my freshman year in college. I struggle with spreading anything about them since they have taken an all PR is good for business stance.

They're disgusting people, and as I understand, their organization is filled with lawyers and they use their protests as money-making operations - baiting people into assaulting them and then suing. They are quite wealthy.
